Are looking to get involved with worship? You clicked on this tab so obviously you’re curious! There are many ways that you can get involved. 

To be a part of the musicians team and play on our weekend services and special events you must first attend an audition. Open auditions happen frequently throughout the year, and private ones can be arranged. 

What to expect in an audition:

For many people the idea of an audition can be kind of scary, but don’t worry, we’ve tried to make the audition process as “low stress” as possible. First you will fill out a application stating what instruments you play, how long you’ve played, where and if you’ve had any training. You will need to have two references that can tell us something about your character, preferably someone you’ve played with. Secondly we will talk about what worship is to you and what brought you to the point that you’re at now. (there is no right or wrong here!) Then you will play something that you are very comfortable with, or sing something that you know really well. After that you will play something given to you that you don’t know, this will show be how fast you can learn and if you adapt well to change. Perfection is not expected, don’t worry. That is the end of the audition, after that there may be follow up auditions but that is not necessary.

As stated in the worship is… section, worship is not just singing and music! That is why we also have the Photography Team, Art team, Tech team, Dance team and sound team.
